Piece of cake, it was.
Day 4 - Comment to someone you haven't ever interacted with before or introduce yourself to someone you've interacted with and friend/follow them.
Kind of a New Year Resolution for me to be active on my fannish sites, especially here, LJ and AO3. Decided to always - a l w a y s - write a comment when I read something or watched some artwork that I liked and it doesn't just make me feel somehow more accomplished and calmer in a way I haven't been before. It's palpable love for the authors which I know keeps them going. It keeps me going, too. And actually I found so many great people thanks to this challenge that I felt very compelled to reach out to them. It wasn't hard at all, which is weird, considering I'm an introvert and all that jazz. Mutual interests helped of course, but it's not just about that.
Good people <3

1) Merengő
I know this probably doesn't concern most of you, because this is Hungary's No.1 fanfic site, naturally with hungarian content only. It was kinda my second home before LJ and DW and it's still very dear to me. I love the people there, I love their works and participate in the Christmas challenge religiously.
I just wanted to share. :)
2) Fullmoon Ficlet
The prompting community that started me in the Teen Wolf fandom - I can only thank for that that I finally grew a pair and started posting in English. They moved to Tumblr a year ago 'cause the fandom is primarily over there but idk. Would love to see the whole thing on DW instead...
Anyway, they're lovely! Check them out!
3) Yaoi Otaku Forums
Well, some of you may know 'bout this site. Some parts of it are more active than others, and I myself only recently started participate a bit more. But the atmosphere is lovely, there are cute contests and everyone I encountered so far was pretty nice. I chill over there almost every day now, just reading some stuff, or actively seeking infos. Love that site.
4) Art Is The Weapon
Recommended for MCR fans and everyone who's anti-Trump, has cynical black humor, a part of or supports LGBTQ people and appreciates the finer things in life, like beheading and reheading...
5) ryky - on of my fav deviants
So, I love this artist's work to pieces. His pictures calm me down, they're like balm to the soul but at the same time they're vivid, magical and full of life. Worth to take a look, seriously.
6) LAS-T - a deviant who changed my life
with this. Did I mention already that I'm a huuuuuge Tom Riddle fan? Every piece of their art is gorgeous.
7) Chibi Maker
aka long live my fav thing on the internet. This cute, cool thing has been around for many years and it's still really fun and stress-relieving to play with! (Who doesn't like dress-ups, c'mon.)
Aaaand shit, I almost left the main thing out:.
8) Get Your Words Out
Now, I'm sure that most of you know this incredible community. If you somehow don't, GYWO is the most helpful, year-round butt-kicker for writers to really get things done. They have amazing spreadheets to count your progress and numerous helpful blog posts, word wars, mini challenges and such. They get your muses going and really help you, whatever your problem might be. Every year ya'll have until Jan 15 to get membership and pledge (yes, you have to be active and do check-ins every month about your progress - or lack of it, but that's not the point, you won't lose anything if you couldn't write a single word - to get your hands on all the goodies).
Well. Suddenly these came to mind.
