This is a hard task, alright. Especially since I didn't create any finished work last year.
My proudest moment was the accidental creation of my original characters but that too happened in hungarian, so there aren't many people I could brag and show about them... However, I will translate their stories but that's gonna happen much later, maybe in the summer.
There's always the list of my Teen Wolf fics, and I am pretty pleased with them although some of those are still unfinished because other fandoms happened... Well. Steter fans could enjoy them still ;) and I always finish the things that I start. Maybe it takes a hellovalotoftime but this is my passion. I stick to it :D
My favorite part! I'm reading so many good fics (at the same time, hahaha), but I tried to choose the Top 3.
Here they come, dundudunnn (in the order of my reading history on AO3, haha):

Summary: The fiasco that is Harry's life could be summed up in two words — Avada Kedavra. Those words have haunted him for as long as he can remember, endangering him with their very existence. He'd resigned himself to a life without a soulmate, to pain and sorrow... but then the Blacks happened. Or, one Black in particular.
Whose idea was it to let a Black woman invent time travel, anyway?
I'm obsessed! This one is just so great on world-building! Many thought went into this fic, it's amazingly clever (and I don't even like time-travel!) I don't want to go into details, but just know, that this fic is canon-worthy. In my mind many explanations and characterizations replaced Rowling's additional, well, stuff she shared with us after the books ended. True on it's word, it's such a slow-burn I'm on the ninth chapter and romance is not even on the horizon but I don't mind at all. Everything else is just so interesting and exciting, it grabs my full attention.

Okay, guys. This is dark and triggery and beautiful. To better understand it you're strongly advised to read the first part of the series, cherry bomb. That has Ginny Weasley and her teenage drama in the focus, and we get to know the members of the Ginny Weasley Defence Squad - Harry's circle of friends. It's essential for this story. MaidenMotherCrone is a very talented writer, I LOVE everything from them and this... It's glorious.
Let's move onto
I have so many new favorites. So, so, so many. I feel like I'm gushing about the same things over and over again so I'd like to go for more specific things, characters and scenes from these fandoms that I adore beyond everything.
1) Boku No Hero Academia - Shouto Todoroki and his meme-face
Okay, we all know the type. Prince charming look (well, he's scarred on his face, but that just doubles the mysterious and cool factor). Powerful, wealthy, comes from a famous family. Has daddy-issues and a sad backstory. Clever and silent (he's just socially inept, the poor sod, but his admirers wouldn't know that now)

But. Just look at that face. Sarcasm overload.

There's nothing I don' like about this boy, or how he could go from GQ model to stick-figure meme in a heartbeat both in the anime and the manga's panels.

2) The Best Love Confession Ever© - Guardian, the novel
These lines are to die for. Priest's humor is really something, I love this novel with all my heart, and I think the translator did a pretty good job with it. Priest's quirky writing style, her character's originality, the scenes' unique atmospheres - everything comes through.
If you only watched the drama I strongly recommend reading the novel too. It's even more amazing!

3) Yiling Laozu or the Yiling Patriarch, Mo Dao Zu Shi
There is a lot of love for young Wei Wuxian, who studies in the Cloud Recesses and makes a fool out of himslef (and others) on a regular basis, with a penchant for aggravating poor Lan Wangji's gay heart. And then there's lot's of love for Wei Wuxian, who came back to the realm of the living through Mo Xuanyu and went off on a great adventure with Hanguang Jun.
My favorite Wei Wuxian tho (or: BRING ME ALL THE ANGST I CAN TAKE IT):
"It was Wei WuXian!
However, apart from the face, from top to bottom, this person was nowhere like the past Wei WuXian.
Wei WuXian had clearly been a bright, high-spirited boy. The tips of his eyes and eyebrows had always retained the hint of a grin, always refusing to walk properly. Yet, this person was entirely enveloped in a cold, dark energy. He was handsome, yet pale-faced, his smile eerie."

"One against two, Lan WangJi still refused to back off. He gazed at Wei WuXian, “Wei Ying, for cultivating an evil path you would eventually have to pay. Throughout time, there has not been a single exception.”
Wei WuXian, “I can pay.”
Seeing how unconcerned he seemed to be, Lan WangJi lowered his voice, “The path would not only damage your body, but your heart as well."
Wei WuXian, “Damage or not, how much damage, I know it the most. As for my heart, it’s my heart after all. I know what I’m doing."
Lan WangJi, “Some things you cannot be able to control at all.”
Displeasure flashed across Wei WuXian’s face, “Of course I can control it.”
"Lan WangJi’s gaze was still locked on Wei WuXian, while Wei WuXian’s attention had already been taken away by his dying enemy. The eyes he looked at Wen Chao and Wen ZhuLiu with glistened, and his grin was both excited and cruel. Jiang Cheng had on him the same expression. Both of them had been buried within the overwhelming pleasure of revenge. Neither had the concern to deal with an outsider.
A few moments later, Lan WangJi turned around and walked down the stairs.
After he went out of the courier station, he stood before the door for a long time, but he never left.
He didn’t know how long had passed when the silent night was ripped apart by a shrill wail.
Lan WangJi looked up behind him, his white robes and forehead ribbon fluttering in the cold wind.
The night had passed. The sun in the sky was about to rise.
And the sun on the ground was falling."
excerpts are from the novel, Chapter 62 - Evil
The thing that many people forget - or the ones who only saw CQL just don't get - that Wei Wuxian is a war criminal, who really lost control over his own power and menatl faculties. Basically, the loss of his core combined with the excessive use of demonic cultivation, his thirst for revenge, the Sunshot Campaign's ruthless murders, later his isolation on the Burial Mounds and his youthful arrogance and stubborness drove him over the edge. He heaped mistakes upon mistakes and it's a miracle his soul hasn't broken to pieces like Xiao Xingchen's. Probably because the Wens became his new family, surrounding him with love and acceptance.

I think all Harry Potter fans know this name and read at least one fic from her (and if you didn't, you should). AND since I'm always speechless when it comes to her, let me insert this most humble understatement of an introduction from LJ:
"Welcome! I'm a twentysomething woman who's written some HP fanfic, which is my infinite game for the moment, and which you can find tagged in my journal. I currently write Harry/Draco slash, but have written a few other pairings and have some gen stories planned."
Some HP fanfic...: this is her taglist...
I swear I'll make an infograph or something, huge-ass statistics about her works because damn. She has many. Long, multi-chaptered ones. Series. One-shots. Everything, you can imagine and more. And it's not just about numbers but quality. I never encountered any ficwriter like her who can write consistently more and more, can come up with interesting, new ideas and execute them with such utter perfection.
She is someone I look up to, been following her for years and admiring the amazing stories unraveling from that mind.
All of my respect and awe goes to the fabulous lomonaaeren today.
I think this post got a little out of hand, so I'll catch up with the remaining days tomorrow.
Peace and blessings.

This is a more or less objective reflection back on all the shit he went through. Nothing he did was unjustified. His character is the most painfully real character I ever had the fortune to love. He's perfect for my fictional taste XD
I would've done the same with the golden core, with Wen Chao, I would've fought against the Wens too. Saving Wen Ning's branch is what everyone with a good conscience would've done in his situation.
But fact is, the Sunshot Campaign was a whole war. Battles upon battles for months. When Wei Wuxian came back from his disappearance he was among the strongest cultivators alive and so very young to boot... No wisdom, no cool head, no control, no master to teach him. He fought ruthlessly, killed more than anyone else, arguably. There's nothing specific he did, other than when he was on the battlefield there was no one else needed from their side. Even killing one person does ugly things to the soul. The power he held was on another level, the amount of people he killed too. Soldiers who come back from war usually suffer from PTSD at least. Wei Wuxian never really left the war, because the cultivation world just shifted focus onto him after all was said and done. Him protecting the Wen remnants was just a pitiful excuse from the people who feared his power. He had no time to cope, to mourn, to reflect, to heal. He didn't have a fucking moment to breathe.
What Lan Wangji says all the time, that walking the heretic path has a price turned out to be true. And I'm not saying Wei Wuxian had another choice in the matter if he wanted to be true to his self, but there were several times he just... paraded around with corpses for no reason at all? WTH. There was that scene in Yunmeng where he was just lounging around with a flock of dead women. Maybe to chase away loneliness, or it was just his usual mischievious self scaring people for fun, however morbid that is. Who the hell knows. Wen Qing tried to reason with him when they retreated to the Burial Mounds because she saw that he was well on the way of self-destruction but to no avail.
This is just a theory but from how his health suffered more and more, how he became volatile even before his mind started to slip - I think for a cultivator to lose his golden core eventually leads to death either way. (Remember, when it happened to Jiang Cheng he became an empty shell, giving up on life instantly.) Add to that the Burial Mounds' lovely atmosphere and his excessive use of demonic cultivation. I know he didn't trust Lan Wangji but not even listening to him was a mistake. It was pride and fear and arrogance and maybe it blinded him to alternative solutions. Again, maybe he didn't really had another choice. He had no reason to trust anyone at that point other than his Wens.
What they did with Jiang Cheng, and if I remember correctly that is addressed later in the confrontation scene - the mock battle and Wei Wuxian's exile from the Yunmeng Jiang Sect was definitely something that sealed their fate. He was left alone, and it's the fault of many people, many deeds. Maybe if they would've stuck together, maybe if Jiang Cheng would've stood up for his brother and protected him and his truth... And I know that's impossible, Jiang Cheng hated the Wens the most. But there was the option to shield them in the rebuilt Lotus Pier, maybe imprison them for a while and stand by his brother's side.
Again, I understand their reasonings, their actions. I love everything about this novel, about Wei Wuxian. I'm just theorizing and dissecting to my heart's content :D
Jin Zixuan's and Jiang Yanli's death were both accicents too. But it's true that at both scenes he lost control even before the tragedies happened. My darling, he was so far gone at that point...
Oh, Wei Wuxian was a whole lot stronger than Xiao Xingchen, alright. But it's still a miracle he could come back relatively sane and whole after everything.
Oh, absolutely! His entire story, from the moment Lotus Pier falls, is just crisis after crisis after crisis. And even in CCL we can see how he's struggling to cope.
Aaah! Now this is a thing I didn't remember (I do now that you mention it.) I share your WTH. Playing around with corpses needlessly is not very mature.
That's the thing that came through for me very strongly - he still thought Lan Wangji didn't even like him. And just listening to his advice on the demonic cultivation - well, when there's no other choice anyway, what does listening help? If Jiang Cheng had supported him, that could have helped, he still trusted Jiang Cheng. Alas... even without his hatred of the Wens, I don't think Jiang Cheng was ready to stand against the senior clans, not with having to rebuild his own. He has quite a hands-off attitude towards the problems of strangers from the beginning, anyway; the fact that it's Wen strangers just makes it even worse.
I love Wei Wuxian so much, too! ♥♥♥
